Terms & Conditions

Tour prices are based on costs and exchange rate as per date of quotation. Should these costs change a surcharge may be made on the price of your vacation. If the total tour price increases by more than 10%, passengers will have the right to cancel within 7 days of notification of the surcharge without penalty. No surcharges in respect of cost or currency fluctuations will be made once payment for the deposit of your land tour is received. This guarantee does not apply to any taxes, charges or levies imposed by any government or their agencies. In exchange for these guarantees no refund will be made if costs are reduced. All prices are in South African Rand, unless otherwise specified.

Children must share a room (twin or triple bedded) with at least one adult. Each child will be charged the twin room price, less 50% for children between 2-12 years*. Certain exclusions apply to this discount. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount. The adult(s) who share with the child(ren) will be charged the appropriate price for the accommodation occupied.

Children under the age of 2 are ineligible. Handicapped passengers are welcomed on our tours, provided they are accompanied and do not require special assistance, as a certain amount of walking whilst sightseeing is a feature of all tours.

Destination RSA reserves the right to withdraw tour membership from anyone whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operation of the tour, or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers; Destination RSA shall be under no obligation to any such person.

Destination RSA constantly strives to improve our itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make the changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, sometimes in reverse, in which case hotels may vary from those stated in the itinerary.

Destination RSA reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. Should this occur, we will offer you an alternative arrangement. If there is a difference in cost this will be for your account. If you do not accept this alternative arrangement within 7 days we may treat this contract as at an end. We will refund all monies and then be under no further liability. Destination RSA is not responsible for the costs of any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Touring By air-conditioned luxury vehicles, or as specified by itinerary.

Hotel Accommodation Prices per person are based on two persons sharing a room.

Tour Director Escorted tours are conducted in English only by professional tour guides.

Meals Meals are included or excluded as per detailed itinerary.

Porterage Baggage handling and porterage fees are not included in the prices.

Gratuities and Taxes All gratuities and taxes are not included in the prices quoted.

Also not included Airfares to and from South Africa, airport taxes, passport and Visa fees, insurance, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, items of a personal nature, excess baggage and optional excursions/activities.
